Bermondsey falls within the London Borough of Southwark, one of south-east London’s most densely developed boroughs. The ONS 2021 Census recorded Southwark’s population at just over 318,000, with SE1 representing the northern slice of the borough closest to the City. The housing is extraordinarily varied.
