Tower Hamlets grew faster than anywhere else in England over the last decade, its population up 22.1% to around 310,300 according to the ONS 2021 Census, and Bow has taken a good share of that growth. Buyers priced out of Hackney and Islington keep landing on the Victorian terraces around Tredegar Square and Fairfield Road, while the ex-council estates and newer blocks nearer the DLR fill up with a mix of long-term residents and first-time buyers.
